General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer
As General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer, Lauren ensures Magnetic’s data strategy is clear, effective, and abides by all laws and regulations.
Lauren joins Magnetic from Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer where she practiced antitrust and consumer protection law. Previously, she served as a trial attorney with the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice (where she played significant roles on some of the Division’s largest technology investigations) and clerked for the late Hon. Ann Aldrich of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Prior to law school, Lauren worked at a variety of startups as a software developer.
Lauren received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Harvard University, and she received her J.D., magna cum laude, from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. She has spoken and written on a vast range of topics including antitrust cartels, consumer protection, and judicial discretion, and she was named a 2015 Rising Star by New York Super Lawyers.
