NEW YORK – April 9, 2014 – Digital advertising technology company, Magnetic (www.magnetic.com), announced today the appointment of Sandeep Swadia as Chief Strategy Officer. In this new role, Swadia will be responsible for driving corporate strategy for Magnetic’s expanding business.

Sandeep is a seasoned technology and media leader with nearly 20 years of experience running corporate strategy, business development and global marketing. He has held leadership positions at the enterprise search platform FAST, which was acquired by Microsoft (MSFT), and at Demand Media (DMD), which was a pioneer in search intent driven display advertising. Recently, he served as the Chief Revenue Officer at a mobile technology platform ScrollMotion.

Sandeep earned an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Northeastern University. He will be based in Magnetic’s New York office and will report to the CEO, James Green.
