Magnetic Wins "Best Places to Work" Award for the Second Year
(Tampa, FL - March 15, 2007) - Magnetic, a full-service Web development firm celebrating its 10th anniversary, has received its second "Best Places to Work" Award given by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
Only 53 companies in the Tampa Bay region were awarded the 2007 "Best Places to Work" designation. Companies were classified into four categories based on the number of employees. Magnetic, which was ranked the top-seat in its category in 2006, was among the winners in the "Nearly Big" category for companies with 10-25 employees.
Other categories included Big (26-50 employees), Bigger (51-100 employees) and Biggest (over 100 employees).
Nominations were conducted through the Tampa Bay Business Journal Web site, qualified and then sent to an outside research firm, which administered anonymous employee surveys. Winning organizations received the highest rankings based on a statistical analysis of employee responses under topics such as people practices, team effectiveness, retention risk and trust with coworkers and senior leaders.
