Magnetic CEO Named as Finalist in "Ultimate CEO" Awards
TAMPA, Fla. - (May 12, 2008) - Magnetic CEO Ken Bakunas has been named a finalist in the Tampa Bay Business Journal's inaugural Ultimate CEO Awards.
"It is an honor to be considered one of the region's ultimate CEOs, particularly given the caliber of leadership within the Tampa Bay business community," said Bakunas, who founded the full-service Web development firm in 1997. Finalists for the Ultimate CEO Award were selected based on leadership, personal vision and community involvement. Bakunas is one of seven finalists in the Small Private Companies category. Winners will be announced on May 29, 2008.

This is just the latest in a string of awards for Bakunas and Magnetic. He was named the 2007 CEO of the Year by Tampa Bay CEO Magazine and the firm was selected as one of the "Best Places to Work" by the Business Journal for the third consecutive year.
Magnetic was named the 2007 Small Business of the Year in the 21-50 employee category by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, and was a finalist for the Business Journal's 2007 Business of the Year Award.
Industry recognitions include the 2007 Interactive Media Awards™ (IMA) Outstanding Achievement Award in the Pharmaceutical category and three Shopping Standard of Excellence WebAwards from the Web Marketing Association.
