In early January, Magnetic teamed up with Ipsos to launch a survey aimed at understanding buying behaviors from this past 2016 holiday shopping season.
In addition to the survey, Magnetic also revealed insights from its marketing platform, which analyzed intent data, purchase behavior, and consumer patterns that took place throughout the holiday shopping journey. Findings directly point out the top shopping days, preferred channels for browsing and buying, and progress on the second screen, but they also indirectly suggest ways in which marketers can improve holiday marketing.
